Call of Duty: Vanguard – What to expect

Call of Duty: Vanguard is getting a single-player campaign with four playable characters. The game’s multiplayer is set to launch with 20 maps including 16 which are built for “core gameplay.” Activision revealed that the maps will feature diverse environments as players will fight as the original Special Forces Operators from World War Two.

The game is also getting a 2v2 mode with eight teams competing in close-quarters combat. It will be similar to battle royale modes but in a smaller environment. Activision revealed that there will be more information available soon as well as an update on the open beta which should take place sometime before launch.

In addition to all of the content available, which will include “new Multiplayer and Zombies maps and modes, seasonal events, community celebrations, and much more”, the Battle Pass system will also make a return, allowing players to unlock weapons and cosmetics across multiple seasons.

Call of Duty: Warzone to get a new anti-cheat

Call of Duty: Warzone is getting a brand new map and a new anti-cheat system. Progress made in Warzone in Black Ops Cold War will carry over into Call of Duty: Vanguard. All items that were earned by players from Season Passes will carry forward along with any cosmetic purchases. Warzone will also feature a new PC anti-cheat system across the entire experience when it launches with the new map. Full integration between Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone will roll out when the new Warzone map launches later this year.

Activision has promised more information on the new anti-cheat in the coming weeks. The new anti-cheat system will be available when Warzone’s integration rolls out with Vanguard on 5th Nov 2021.
