Wild Rift Senna and Lucian Release Date: Rumours and Speculation

The release date for both Lucian and Senna in League of Legends: Wild Rift is yet to be officially revealed. However, since the current event, Broken Blades, is in its final week, we can speculate that the two new champions will be arriving in the game shortly after the current event concludes. The two upcoming champions Senna and Lucian will be arriving in Wild Rift along with their own themed event called the Sentinel of Light. Participating in the event will allow players to unlock one of the two new champions for free. Wild Rift Senna and Lucian Release Date

Riot Games is yet to officially announce the release date of Senna and Lucian in Wild Rift. However, we can speculate that Senna and Lucian will be arriving sometime before June 2021 ends. This is based on the fact that the Broken Blades event will soon conclude on June 16, 2021. This is just pure speculation so take this information with a grain of salt. 

According to data miner Canserole, Senna and Lucian will be arriving in Wild Rift through a themed event called Sentinel of Light. This event will be based on one of the deadliest and most corrupted regions of the game’s lore, Shadow Isle. The event will feature a ton of new cosmetics and in-game loots that players can collect as well as a champion selection chest that allows players to unlock either Lucian or Senna for free. 

Riot Games is yet to officially reveal the details and release dates for the upcoming Sentinel of Light event. However, the devs did hint at this event during their Season 2021 Live Stream.

New Wild Rift Champion Akshan Rumours

The data miner, Canserole suggests that the champions that can be acquired through the Sentinel of Light Champion Selection Chest could be Vayne, Irelia, Riven, Lucian, Senna, and the upcoming champion for League of Legends PC, Akshan. This is due to the description of the champion selection chest that states that players can select one of the six Sentinel Champions to receive. 

However, this is not officially confirmed by Riot Games and the description for the items may change before it gets released in the regular servers. 

Akshan is an upcoming champion in LoL PC and is a member of the Sentinel of Light, according to the lore. So far, only concept art has been revealed for the champion.

He is unlikely to be released in Wild Rift soon as the devs only promised four champions to be released for patch 2.3. Players will have to keep their eyes peeled for official announcements from Riot Games.
