League of Legends Worlds 2021: Who Has Qualified So Far?
The League of Legends (LoL) 2021 World Championship will see 24 of the best teams from all around the world battle it out for the championship crown. The year’s biggest LoL esports event has a massive prize pool of $2,225,000 USD. As of now, DWG KIA, last year's champions have qualified from Korea while Rogue and MAD Lions have qualified from Europe. 100 Thieves and two other teams from North America (NA) are expected to attend Worlds 2021. Several other contenders from Latin America (LATAM), Southeast Asia (SEA), Vietnam, Turkey, Russia, and host country China are still to be declared. This is the third time that the LoL World Championship will be held in China.

Out of the 24 potential slots in Worlds 2021, the following regions have these slot allocations:

Korea - 4
Europe - 3
NA - 3
SEA - 2
Vietnam - 2

Look for updates in this space for who has qualified for Worlds 2021. All the regional qualifiers will be wrapped up in August. Both Korea and China have had alternating claims to the Worlds’ title since 2013.
LoL Worlds 2021 details: dates, format, location
The tournament is expected to begin in October, with the grand final scheduled for 6th Nov 2021 at the Universiade Sports Centre in Shenzhen, China.
League of Legends Worlds 2021 will be played with three stages, namely Play-Ins, Groups, and the Knockout stages.
A top 12 teams will be seeded into the Groups stage while 12 more will fight it out for four spots for the final event.
