Axie Infinity Smooth Love Potion (SLP) is an in-game currency used to either breed Axies or exchange for other supported cryptocurrencies. With the recent update for Season 20, Axie SLP can only be acquired through the Arena Mode, the Player versus Player system of the game. Players will no longer be able to earn SLP through other in-game mechanics such as Daily Quests and Adventure Mode. The amount of SLP gained will depend on the player’s Match Making Rating (MMR) which can be raised by winning in the Arena Mode. The higher the player’s MMR, the more SLP can be acquired per match won.

Axie SLP Per MMR in Arena Mode

Energy is required when playing in Arena Mode. Each match will consume one energy whether you win or lose. Winning a match will raise your MMR and will reward you with SLP based on your current placement.

The recent update also slightly reduced the amount of SLP earned in Arena Mode.

For now, players who have reached 2,500 MMR or more will only gain a total of 14 SLP. For casual players who are not aiming for the top of the leaderboards, staying within this rank will maximize your daily Axie SLP gain. However, climbing higher in rank will also reward players with even more SLP based on their ranking when the season officially ends.

The amount of Axie SLP per MMR bracket is subject to change by the developers. While the release date of the next major update called Axie Infinity: Origins is yet to be announced, fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for more updates in the future.
