A total of 77 Dota 2 matches have been played by w33 in the past eight days according to Dota 2 Pro Tracker.
This change follows a prolonged period of inactivity both from the competitive scene as well as casual matchmaking, with the exception of a short stint with Team Romania in Sept 2021.
The Romanian mid lane player has been on Nigma Galaxy's (formerly Team Nigma) inactive roster since April 2021.

Popular Dota 2 player, Aliwi "w33" Omar has actively begun to play Dota 2 games in ranked matchmaking. A total of 77 Dota 2 matches have been played by w33 in the past eight days according to Dota 2 Pro Tracker. This comes forth after a prolonged period of inactivity both from the competitive scene as well as casual matchmaking, with the exception of a short stint with Team Romania at the IESF World Championship 2021: East Europe in Sept 2021. The Romanian mid lane player has been on Nigma Galaxy's (formerly Team Nigma) inactive roster since April 2021.

W33 reenters Dota 2 matchmaking after a long break

W33 has mainly been playing his traditional role as a midlaner in these pubs with a lot of emphasis on his signature hero, Batrider. In total, he has played 28 games as Batrider with a win rate of 71.4%. His next two most played heroes in the past eight days are unexpectedly Earth Spirit and Outworld Destroyer, heroes that are completely out of the meta in midlane. W33 has racked up 48 wins and only 29 losses during his 77 games making for quite a successful return, at least in terms of Dota 2 pubs.

w33's recent match history

Since he was dropped from Nigma Galaxy's active roster to become the 6th player, w33 had largely been inactive on his Main Dota 2 account. This change came after the team had an abysmal showing at the Singapore Major 2021, where it finished last. The player was allowed to pursue new opportunities by Nigma Galaxy, but he remained without a team for the rest of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021. Later, Nigma Galaxy switched Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi to the midlane and welcomed Igor "iLTW" Filatov as its new carry.

W33 returned for a brief period of time in Sept 2021 to play in the IESF World Championship 2021: East Europe with other Romanian players. Despite doing well in the early stages, the team ended up losing to Team Turkey in the semifinals and did not qualify for the Global Championship.

As w33 is now actively competing in pubs, it is likely that he will be getting ready for the next season of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC 2021-22). DPC 2021-22 is expected to begin on 29th Nov 2021, with the first of its three regional leagues, as per a tweet by Alliance earlier this month. As a result of The International 10 (TI10) having just concluded, many roster changes are anticipated in the lead up to the DPC 2021-22.
