The International 2021 (TI) winner and Team Spirit’s support player Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naidenov has been making waves for his gameplay prowess in Dota 2 esports of late. Ahead of the upper bracket semifinals between Team Spirit and Team Liquid (TL), TL’s coach William "Blitz" Lee recognized the strength of Miposhka and also shed light on his experiences competing against Team Spirit over the year. In particular, he talked about how it feels to be playing against the position five player Miposhka.

Blitz Acknowledges Team Spirit & Miposhka’s Strength

Blitz, a prominent figure in the Dota 2 competitive scene and Team Liquid's coach, had the opportunity to share his insights during an interview at The International 2023 (TI12), where he openly acknowledged Miposhka as a standout player, who poses to be a formidable challenge for his team.

While Blitz didn't explicitly describe what makes Miposhka so "annoying" on the battlefield, it's clear that the Team Spirit player's flexibility and skills have left a lasting impression on his competitors.

Blitz's recognition of Team Spirit as a "really, really good team" highlighted the level of competition and talent present in Dota 2 esports. When asked about the lessons learned from reviewing replays of past matches against Team Spirit, Blitz emphasized the need to take opponents more seriously.

Talking about Team Spirit, Blitz said, “Yeah, I mean, I learned that they are a really, really good team. So we have to take it a little more seriously and I think we understand that they’re super flexible. Miposhka is probably the most annoying player in the world. So, target him a little bit, don’t give him an inch.

The versatility displayed by Team Spirit, especially by players like Miposhka, required a higher level of strategic planning and execution from Team Liquid. This recognition underscores the significance of adaptability and adaptability in esports.

Notably, earlier in the year, Team Liquid lost to Team Spirit at the Riyadh Masters 2023 upper bracket finals with a score of 2-1 and in the grand finals with a score of 3-1. History repeated itself as Team Liquid lost to Team Spirit once more at TI12 upper bracket semifinals with a score of 2-1. Even target banning Miposhka did not seem to work.

Blitz's acknowledgment of Miposhka's skills as an "annoying" player could be seen as a high compliment in the competitive gaming world, where standing out as a challenging and versatile opponent is a testament to a player's exceptional talent.

On a lighter note, Blitz also revealed his personal music preferences, mentioning that he had been enjoying Taylor Swift's "1989" [Taylor Version] album. He also stated that he has a "basic" musical taste and added that he and Lasse "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen shared some jams.
