Team Bald Reborn has officially been eliminated from Division II of the Western Europe Dota Pro Circuit.
Despite having recruited Aliwi "w33" Omar at the last hours, the team’s performance in Division II of the WEU DPC has been nothing but abysmal.
While the team will no longer be in the division, it can re-enter by finishing top two in the closed qualifiers of the Spring Tour.

Team Bald Reborn were officially confirmed to have been eliminated from Division II of the Western Europe Dota Pro Circuit (WEU DPC) after an abysmal performance in the regional league, losing six consecutive series in a row. Team Bald Reborn is well-known to be a mainstay in the division while also providing entertainment through its captain, Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski.

However, with the team now eliminated from the second division it will have to go through the gauntlet as the team will have to play the open qualifiers if they wish to play in Division II for the Spring Tour.

Gorgc & team to play in open qualifiers for Spring Tour

Following its sixth consecutive defeat in the regional league against newcomers Monaspa, Gorgc’s Team Bald Reborn have been officially confirmed to have been eliminated from the second division of the WEU DPC.

Team Bald Reborn were considered by many as a regular mainstay within the division, however this is not the first time the team has been relegated out of Division II. Gorgc’s team were formerly relegated out of the regional league after the second tour of the 2021/2022 DPC season. However, the team were able to re-enter into the division after finishing top two in the Closed Qualifiers of the third tour.

After achieving a top eight finish in the regional qualifiers of The International 2022 (TI11), the team were expected to maintain the same roster. However, a last-minute departure from Steve "Xcalibur" Ye to Arkosh saw Gorgc scrambled for a last-minute replacement. With little time remaining, Gorgc made a surprising choice by inviting two-time TI finalist Aliwi "w33" Omar to the team, with the latter surprisingly accepting the offer as Team Bald Reborn’s new midlaner.

However, the addition of w33 clearly did not work out for Gorgc and his team as the team lost six consecutive matches in a row and became one of the two teams to be eliminated from the second division altogether.

Despite having been eliminated from the division, Team Bald Reborn can re-enter Division II in time for the Spring Tour. However, it would have to play in the brutal seas of the Open & Closed Qualifiers for the upcoming Spring Tour.

Additionally, there is a possibility that Gorgc’s team might meet face-to-face with Old G, whose roster consisted of OG’s former star players in Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen, Sébastien "Ceb" Debs and Johan "N0tail" Sundstein.
