Dota 2 commentator syndereN, in the We Say Things podcast, talked about how w33, who recently joined Alliance, could be a key contributor to the team by partnering with Nikobaby.
SyndereN said that both w33 and Nikobaby, two players who play predominantly aggressive, could prove to be a fearsome core duo in the current patch, in which teams have so far been playing at a rapid pace.
Along with the fact that the two players can run over enemies together, syndereN believes w33 will be the right person to make Nikobaby successful when the latter is on a hard carry hero.

Aliwi “w33” Omar returned to competitive Dota 2, after a long break of around 10 months, as he joined Alliance's Dota 2 roster for the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Tour 2 for 2021-22. He initially refused to join Alliance because of personal reasons, but now that he has finally become a part of the team, Dota 2 commentator Troels Lyngholt "syndereN" Nielsen discussed how he could increase the team's value along with carry player Nikolay "Nikobaby" Nikolov. SyndereN said that w33 and Nikobaby can become an efficient core duo with their characteristically aggressive playstyles in the current patch that has so far seen teams playing at a rapid pace. SyndereN mentioned that w33's ability to make space for Nikobaby whenever he needed it was another strength of this duo.

SyndereN is hopeful for an Alliance turnaround following the addition of w33

Initially, in the We Say Things podcast numbered 141, syndereN spoke concisely about Nikobaby's playstyle, describing how he thrives when playing aggressive heroes. “Something that I have also said about Niko is that he’s a very aggressive carry player. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t play hard carries because he does but he’s very involved. And I think especially the way how this patch works right now, having aggressive players and putting pressure seems to be very powerful right now. The games are high paced. There’s a lot going on,” he said.

With patch 7.31, which was released on 23rd Feb, teams have been enjoying a much faster pace. One key reason for this has been the availability of Aghanim's Shard at 15 minutes instead of 20 minutes.

Due to this, Nikobaby in this patch had great potential, and now with w33, possessing a similar kind of playstyle having stepped in, they would be a potentially deadly duo according to syndereN. Besides the two players running over opponents together, syndereN added that, when Nikobaby were to carry the game on his own, w33 would be the ideal person to set him up for success.

“You (Nikobaby) put him with w33 who is a very aggressive midlaner and I think their hero pools complement each other. Because if Niko is playing one of his aggressive carries, they can play these high tempo strategies with w33 playing as a playmaker. And pretty much the same logic if Niko is playing a hard carry, w33 is the kind of mid player you want to make space for you. He is willing to make the sacrifices needed to give up farm to the carry and he’s able to generate opportunities around the map. So I think he’s a really great pickup for this roster, so I am hopeful for Alliance.”

W33 has for many years, most notably during his time at Nigma Galaxy (formerly Team Nigma) from 2019 to 2021, has established his reputation as a midlaner who tends to make space for his safelaner. In Nigma Galaxy, w33 often played heroes such as Batrider and Death Prophet, always seeking kills and pushing the tempo to provide his carry Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi with the best possible game.

In addition to synderen's remarks on w33's strategic value as an addition to Alliance, his partner in the We Say Things podcast, Shannon "SUNSfan" Scotten, discussed w33’s great team dynamics.

“I say that every time, the thing that makes him the most valuable player on a lot of teams and I have had firsthand experience with this: He is willing to be the scapegoat always, very easy to play, very easy to work with. And if somebody makes a mistake, he will say it’s his mistake. He’ll literally make sh** out of thin air and try to take the blame,” SUNSfan said, pointing out that this was a rare quality in a mid player. SUNSfan and w33 have worked together at Digital Chaos which placed second at The International 6. SUNSfan was the founder of Digital Chaos, while w33 was its midlaner.

As impressive as the addition of w33 appears on paper, it will be interesting to see how much he can actually contribute in the upcoming season considering his break from competitive Dota 2 and Alliance's recent lackluster results. Alliance will start its Tour 2 journey in Division 2 of the Western European Division.
