HellRaisers reveals updated squad for Dota 2 Champions League 2021 S3

HellRaisers announced its new squad via a Twitter post on 14th Aug 2021.

Resolut1on then took to Twitlonger to elaborate on this roster change. His initial comment was how his team, despite having prepared and worked hard, was unable to qualify for the most prestigious Dota 2 event in Bucharest, Romania.

With the coming Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season in mind, Resolut1on has made a firm decision to return to the carry role. Additionally, he stressed that this updated roster is not final and may be subject to change as HellRaisers rebuilds.

However, HellRaisers will be competing in the Dota 2 Champions League S3, which has already begun and will run until 12th Sept 2021, with the following roster:

  1. Roman "Resolut1on" Fomynok

  2. Maxim "re1bl" Afanasyev

  3. Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov

  4. Bakyt "Zayac" Emilzhanov

  5. Ilya "Lil" Ilyuk

Nikita "young G" Bochko, who played as the midlaner, parted ways with HellRaisers a week ago, and Zaur "Cooman" Shakhmurzaev, who played as the carry, was benched recently. Young G had joined the team as a stand-in in January 2021 before going on to play for the next eight months. Likewise, Cooman joined in January of this year and played for eight months.

HellRaisers' performances improved gradually in 2021. After finishing from fifth to eighth at most of the initial events of the year, they came back in the second DPC season by winning the Lower Division, placing fourth at the Pinnacle Cup, and taking the third spot in The International 10 Eastern Europe qualifier. The team, regardless, proceeded to make these roster changes.

The next series for HellRaisers in the third season of the Dota 2 Champions League 2021 will be against Nemiga Gaming on 16th Aug 2021. In the group stage of the event, the team will play nine BO3 series.
