Report: Eastern European DPC 2021/22 Tour 2 to Resume on April 27
It looks like the Eastern European DPC 2021/22 Tour 2 is finally set to resume on April 27, after being suspended indefinitely by Valve. The tournament will be organized by Beyond The Summit. According to Eastern European outlet cyber.sports.ru, this information was accidentally leaked by CS:GO caster Konstantin "LENINIW" Sivko before the start of the ESL Pro League Season 15 broadcast.
EEU DPC Tour 2 Schedule Revealed
It is still unclear what the tournament format will be, but according to the leak, the teams will play a BO3 series in the first round. The reported schedule for the first round can be found below.
The tournament organizers are yet to make an official announcement regarding this matter.
ESL One Stockholm 2022 Major will kick off on May 12 - three teams from the Eastern European region are scheduled to compete in this event. Earlier in February, Valve indefinitely postponed the Eastern European DPC 2021/22 due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Earlier today, Russian-language caster Yaroslav Vladimirovich "NS" Kuznetsov announced that the Eastern European DPC is expected to take place soon. “There will be a DPC in Eastern Europe, soon. The format will be fast, you need to +- play everything in a week,” NS wrote in his Telegram post.
