Ramzes666 Takes Aim at Crystallis: Claims Team Secret's Carry's Hero Pool is Outdated

Former Darkside carry player Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev recently talked about Team Secret amongst other things in his livestream. RAMZES66 left Virtus.pro last year after his second stint with them in search of a fresh challenge. Although RAMZES666 initially got offers from various regions, he eventually decided to join forces with his former teammates Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev & Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosian to form a new team called Darkside.

However, a lackluster Dota Pro Circuit performance saw RAMZES666 leave the team after only 2 months.

“But actually, we're best buddies with Puppey. But I'm not on Team Secret, or... [am I?]” - Ramzes666 hints at a possible move to Team Secret.

During a recent live stream according to Escorenews, Ramzes666 talked about Team Secret’s carry Remco "Crystallis" Arets amongst other things. However, the five-time Major winner had nothing positive to say about the Dutch player.

Ramzes666 started off by heavily criticizing Crystallis’s hero pool, saying that most of the heroes that he played are outdated in the current meta. Additionally, he also wondered how Secret’s captain Clement “Puppey” Ivanov has not yet replaced the player, before ending his sentence with a cryptic message. 

“I don't know how Puppey tolerates this guy [Crystallis]. He is probably too kind. It's 2024 soon, and he is still sitting and playing Huskar. Isn't he tired of him? But actually, we're best buddies with Puppey. But I'm not on Team Secret, or... [am I?]” he said.

Many saw Ramzes666’s last sentence as an implication that he might join The International 2022 finalists while others saw the last part as a joke as he was linked to a move to Team Secret during the off-season.

While he previously noted that he wanted to wait until the end of the Lima Major before deciding on his future, there is a possibility that he could join the team afterwards as Team Secret might undergo yet another roster change after offlaner Roman "Resolut1on" Fomynokw stated that he was a free agent in a Twitch chat. However, Resolut1on’s departure has not yet been officially confirmed.
