Na'Vi has gone through yet another roster change. A blog post from the organization announced that Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev, Andrey "Mag" Chipenko, and Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosian have all left the team. The move comes two weeks after Na'Vi's entire Dota 2 roster had been placed inactive following the team's "unsatisfactory performance" in the Eastern Europe (EEU) qualifiers for The International 10. Additionally, RodjER had already posted on Twitter a couple of days ago that he is looking for a new team, even though his departure is now officially confirmed.

Na'Vi down to two as RAMZES666, Mag, and RodjER leave

“All of them have been inactive since July 23. We would like to thank the players for their effort and contribution to the club and wish them the best of luck in their future careers,” said Na'Vi as it bid adieu to its offlaner, RAMZES666, position four player, RodjER, and coach Mag.

Only two members remain on Na'Vi’s inactive roster at the time of writing this article:

  1. Alik "V-Tune" Vorobey

  2. Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenk

  3. TBD

  4. TBD

  5. TBD

SoNNeikO, the fifth member, had left Na'Vi soon after TI10's EEU qualifier

A revamp of Na'Vi's team was anticipated already, as the company's Chief Operating Officer (COO), Aleksey "xaoc" Kucherov had stated in a recent interview that they would be hiring a new team.

Additionally, xaoc has now stated that they are still considering options for the future of Na'Vi's Dota 2 domain and that they have plenty of time to explore since The International (TI10) has been postponed to October.

RAMZES666, Mag, and RodjER’s time with Na'Vi

Following his three-month stint with Na'Vi, RAMZES666 has departed the team. He acted as the offlaner instead of playing the safe lane as usual. In contrast, Mag leaves the CIS organization after working with them for three years on and off. In Sept 2018, he joined for the first time, and then had periods of inactivity; however, he continued to be with Na'Vi.

On 3rd Aug, 2021, RodjER had already exited Na'Vi’s roster as per Valve’s Majors Registration Page. Na'Vi brought him on board with his squad, FlyToMoon, in September 2020 as a trial. After playing for nearly a year, he now departs.

With mediocre results in the second Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season as well as the TI10 EEU qualifier, Na'Vi's performance has declined gradually in recent months. As a result, the entire Dota 2 roster was benched for the first time since 2015.

Now, these roster changes make it interesting to see who the organization hires for the three playing and one coaching positions, and how long it takes to find them.
