In an unexpected move, the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021-22 will see the expansion of Quincy Crew's roster internationally. The North American (NA) team only retained two members from the previous roster, Quinn "Quinn" Callahan and Yawar "YawaR" Hassan while deciding to sign three new international players. Former Vikin.gg player Maurice "KheZu" Gutmann, who plays in the offlane, has been named the new team captain, replacing Avery "SVG" Silverman. Quincy Crew’s other new members include European support player Milan "MiLAN" Kozomara and Southeast Asian support player Remus "ponlo" Goh Zhi Xian.

Quincy Crew restructures its Dota 2 roster around Quinn and YawaR

As part of the upcoming NA DPC, a revamped Quincy Crew was revealed. In addition, the team is currently open to “sponsor, endorsement, and org partnerships.”

Quincy Crew’s roster for the upcoming DPC 2021-22 is as follows:

  1. Yawar "YawaR" Hassan

  2. Quinn "Quinn" Callahan

  3. Maurice "KheZu" Gutmann

  4. Milan "MiLAN" Kozomara

  5. Remus "ponlo" Goh Zhi Xian

Quincy Crew had finished in 9th-12th place at The International 10 (TI10), shortly after which manager Jack "KBBQ" Chen announced they would be making significant roster changes going forward.

Rodrigo "Lelis" Santos was the first one to depart and later, position four player Arif "MSS" Anwar also announced on Twitter that he was looking for a new team. In the end, Quincy Crew decided to continue with Quinn and YawaR and form a roster around the two core players. Both these players have been a part of the team ever since it was reformed in March 2020.

In contrast, it is interesting to note that KheZu was enlisted as Quincy Crew's coach at TI10, and he is now an active member of the squad. KheZu will be replacing SVG as the captain. MiLAN last played for Ghost Frogs and has been known to struggle with roster stability throughout his career whenever he is coming in as a position four player. Ponlo, who last played for Team D in Southeast Asia, is a player who has been gaining a lot of community traction in recent months. Quincy Crew will be Ponlo’s first major Dota 2 team.

It is important to note that the Quincy Crew will be competing with players from three different time zones in the NA DPC, so there may be issues with schedules unless all the players decide to convene in North America. Quincy Crew's new roster will be seen in action in the DPC 2021-22’s first regional league, which reportedly starts on 29th Nov 2021.
