It is a testament to PSG.LGD's amazing Dota 2 skills that the team has reached the grand final of The International 10 (TI10) undefeated. It was the European powerhouse of Team Secret that PSG.LGD faced in the upper bracket, but the latter proved to be too strong of a challenge. PSG.LGD destroyed Team Secret in the first game with a clear strategy involving Tiny and Lycan. During the second game, Team Secret had a well-balanced draft which put them in the driver's seat for most of the game, but PSG.LGD struck back with exemplary teamfight skills to win the game and the series 2-0. As for Team Secret, they drop to TI10's lower bracket.

Team Secret vs PSG.LGD: Match Recap and Highlights

Recap

In game 1, the 'Tiny' show took the stage. Although Team Secret moved around the map effectively in the early stages, there was a stalemate in the middle stages, with no meaningful moves made by either team. PSG.LGD's plan was to buff Ame's Lycan with Bloodlust and Lycan's Aghanim's Scepter. Ame proved to be a raidboss in the game, decimating Team Secret heroes to lead PSG.LGD to victory in 42 minutes.

In game 2, Team Secret picked Io and Gyrocopter but ended up placing Gyrocopter in the midlane with Ursa as a carry. Once again, there wasn't much action in the first 25 minutes of the game. The whole game came down to Roshan teamfights and buybacks. After some back and forth engagements, Team Secret had a 16k lead, but Ame's Monkey King and Xinq's Elder Titan helped PSG.LGD come back and win in 52 minutes.

Highlights

Here are some highlights of the series.

Out of 23 games played so far, PSG.LGD has lost just two games. This is just one of the impressive stats that show why the Chinese team is considered the favorite for this year's Aegis of the Champions. Featuring a variety of strategies and heroes, PSG.LGD excels in all aspects of the game. Despite having its back against the wall at times, the team has never let its guard down and managed some incredible comebacks.

Following compelling 2-0 wins over OG and Invictus Gaming, Team Secret's dominance was cut short by PSG.LGD. In the first game, Team Secret seemed to lag behind on draft, but in the second game, PSG.LGD's resilience was seemingly impossible to conquer. In order to face PSG.LGD in the grand final, Team Secret must now beat the winner of Team Spirit vs Invictus Gaming in the lower bracket final.
