Rejoice, OG fans! In a tweet, OG has mentioned that Sébastien "Ceb" Debs, who recently underwent an emergency eye surgery, will be playing at the upcoming The International 10 (TI10). A YouTube video chronicling Ceb's journey to TI10 along with inputs from his family members was also added by OG. In a statement dated 1st Oct 2021, OG had detailed the eye surgery and the plan to team up with Team Liquid's Michael "miCKe" Vu if Ceb could not recuperate in time. A post Ceb made on Twitlonger then provided further context as to how his eye problem was only diagnosed a few hours before he was about to potentially become permanently blind. Ceb and his teammates will now focus their energy on TI10, where they will aim to lift the Aegis of the Champions for the third time in a row.

OG to play at full strength at TI10 as Ceb returns

“Once again proving himself as a role model of dedication to his craft, Ceb IS gonna be playing TI10,” OG said in the tweet.

OG's final lineup at TI10 is as follows:

  1. Syed “SumaiL” Sumail Hassan

  2. Topias Miikka "Topson" Taavitsainen

  3. Sébastien "Ceb" Debs

  4. Martin "Saksa" Sazdov

  5. Johan "N0tail" Sundstein

In the earlier statement, OG acknowledged that Ceb was flown immediately from Portugal to France once an eye issue was diagnosed. In the end, the surgery was successful, but the team was waiting for the doctor's ruling to know if he would be able to participate at TI10. MiCKe was brought in as a replacement and had also been preparing with the team before this latest update.

In addition to OG’s official statement, the offlaner had also posted an update on his health on social media.

It is interesting to note that after OG and Ceb issued their statements on 1st Oct, the latter, who had not played a single game during the previous eight days, began playing again. As recorded on Dota 2 Pro Tracker, the offlaner has played seven pub games since then.

OG will enter TI10 as the defending champion, having won the Dota 2 World Championships in both 2018 and 2019. TI10 will begin on 7th Oct 2021 and culminate with the grand final on 17th Oct 2021.
