Following OG's 2-0 win over Team Secret in the WEU DPC, OG's new offlaner, ATF showed up in the post-match winner's interview and he had a message for Team Secret's distinguished captain, Clement "Puppey" Ivanov.
ATF pointed out that in the past, Puppey trash talked him and his teammate Bozhidar "bzm" Bogdanov in pubs. So now, after this victory in an official game, he will bring it up when they meet in a ranked match.
ATF also revealed in the interview that he does not like his offlaner role as much and prefers to play positions one and two.

OG's newly formed squad of young and relatively inexperienced players put forth a highly impressive performance against Team Secret in its debut series of the Western European (WEU) Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021-22. Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf, 16 years old and playing as the new offlaner for OG, served as the driving force for the team's victory. OG’s offlaner ATF asks Puppey to stop trash talking after taking down Team Secret in the WEU DPC game

As the series between OG and Team Secret took place, the odds looked stacked against OG. OG had a team with players as young as 16 years old, essentially lacking a lot of experience, whereas Team Secret on the other hand was at the high end of the spectrum, possessing not only a solid foundation with having retained three out of the five players but also players who were former The International (TI) winners with years of experience.

However, contrary to expectations, OG went on to win by utterly dominating their two games against Team Secret. The two games involved a lot of tips from all OG members. In terms of tipping Puppey however, ATF was the only one who did so quite a bit, something we do not normally see in the official games.

ATF revealed in the post-game interview that though he saw this series as no different from any other Dota 2 series, he had something to prove to the opponent captain, Puppey.

“It’s just any other Dota game. I just want to win (against) this Puppey guy. He trash-talked me so much. I need to tell him in the ranked game, “Hello, I won (against) you in official, stop talk(ing).” He (also) called my teammate bzm ‘idiot’ on a ranked game.”

ATF had his signature heroes Timbersaw and Mars drafted for the two games in the series. In both of these games, he succeeded, especially the Timbersaw one, where he showcased proficiency in all aspects of the game and decimated his opponents.

ATF also revealed in the interview that he does not like his offlaner role as much and prefers to play positions one and two. In his pubs, he said he tries to play a lot of carry. It was evident in the two games ATF played against Team Secret that he preferred to play more like a carry than the offlane as he soaked a lot of farm on the map.

With this dominant win over Team Secret, ATF and OG have shocked many but it is important to remember that the DPC WEU 2021-22 Tour 1: Division 1 still has a long way to go. It will be interesting to see how consistently this new OG squad can deliver in terms of such solid performances for the remaining six matches in the league. There will also be much more to watch with regards to the upcoming performance of the star-studded Team Secret roster despite their disappointing start.
