In a bizarre turn of events, Nemiga Gaming managed to defeat Trident Clan in the TI10 Eastern Europe (EEU) qualifiers despite being one down by one player. Nemiga Gaming's midlaner Aleksey "Ainkrad" Diveevskiy disconnected at the one-minute mark in the start, but that didn't seem to affect the team's performance as they went on to dominate Trident Clan in the second game of the series. Ainkrad came and went multiple times during the 39-minute match, but he never had any significant impact on his team’s play. Having won the first game of the series as well, Nemiga Gaming advances in the TI10 EEU qualifier, knocking out Trident Clan and ending their hopes of qualifying.

Nemiga Gaming’s midlaner disconnects; team still wins the game 4v5 in the TI10 EEU qualifier

At 1:21 in game two, Ainkrad, who was playing the mid Pangolier, disconnected, and the game paused for some time. The game had to be resumed 4v5 once the pause time expired. As a result of his midlaner's absence, Nemiga Gaming's position four player, Heaven, took over the midlane on his Enchantress.

Despite the absence of Ainkrad, Nemiga Gaming did not let this handicap get in the way of their performance. They played incredibly well and made good rotations with their Ursa going ham with a ton of farm and kills. At the end of the 4v5 game, Ursa finished with an incredible KDA of 21-0-11.

Meanwhile, having difficulty accessing the internet, Ainkrad went to an internet cafe to reconnect. As many times as he entered the game for short periods, he always disconnected without doing anything. In one of the mid game situations when he was able to connect, Ainkrad only contributed by buying a Blink Dagger, a Shard of Aghanim, and a Boots of Speed with all the accumulated gold.

In the final stages of the game, as Nemiga Gaming was about to secure the victory, Ainkrad was able to connect to the game with a seemingly decent internet connection. He bought a full Aghanim’s Scepter this time and then his team took a final teamfight before Trident Clan finally tapped out of the game.

Nemiga Gaming's position five player, Oleg "Lodine" Kvasha controlled Ainkrad's Pangolier all the time when he was disconnected during the game, doing a great job.

The Eastern European team will now play in the TI10 EEU qualifier on June 24, 2021, hopefully with all five members, where they will face the loser of the Natus Vincere vs EXTREMUM.
