In the third day's final series of TI10's group stage, T1 defeated Team Undying 2-0.
The series appeared to have involved some beef as T1's captain, Carlo "Kuku" Palad took to Twitter following the win to fire a shot at Team Undying.
Kuku tweeted "Bunch of noobs" likely in response to Team Undying's offlaner, Jonáš "SabeRLight-" Volek, who had months earlier passed the same remark about SEA. Just minutes later, Kuku deleted the tweet.

On the third day of The International 10 (TI10)'s group stage, T1, who had struggled so far, pulled off a dramatic comeback by winning six straight games to give themselves a potential shot at the playoffs. In the day’s final series, arguably the most decisive one, the Southeast Asian (SEA) team defeated Team Undying 2-0. The series appeared to have involved some beef as T1's captain, Carlo "Kuku" Palad took to Twitter following the win to fire a shot at Team Undying. He tweeted "Bunch of noobs" likely in response to Team Undying's offlaner, Jonáš "SabeRLight-" Volek, who had months earlier passed the same remark about SEA. Just minutes later, Kuku deleted the tweet and posted another tweet that expressed his happiness at T1’s successful third day at TI10’s group stage.

Kuku makes a salty comment after taking down Team Undying; deletes tweet later

The final series of day 3 of TI10's group stage featured T1 and Team Undying. Despite the fact that Team Undying put up a strong fight throughout the two games, T1 consistently had the upper hand. As a result of the early lead and the superior teamfighting ability of T1, the Southeast Asian team won the series 2-0 to finish the day undefeated.

Kuku responded to this win with a rather salty remark that has since been deleted on Twitter.

Kuku tweets, "Bunch of noobs."

Kuku's Twitter

In April 2021, SaberLight- made a similar remark about SEA. The captain of his team, David "MoonMeander" Tan Boon Yang, had initially tweeted that North America, like the vast majority of other regions, deserved a wild card slot in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC). Following this, a user commented that for North America to gain one slot, another region had to lose one that they deserved. This led him to ask MoonMeander which region was unworthy of its slot. In response, SabeRLight- had tweeted, “sea, bunch of noobz.”

The background to Kuku's remark

SabeRLight- later removed this comment after a heated debate broke out in the SEA community. As he clarified in a subsequent tweet, his remark was a joke and he apologized to anyone who was offended by it.

Even though this incident took place months ago, it seems that Kuku still remembered it and returned the favor. The two games also featured SaberLight- being tipped by T1 on more than one occasion, and Kuku typing "xD" in the all-chat at one point in the second game after killing him.

As far as TI10 is concerned, both Team Undying and T1 are now level in the points table. The two teams have a realistic chance of finishing among the top four to earn an entry into the upper bracket of the playoffs. T1 will play Thunder Predator on the final day of the group stage, while Team Undying will play Evil Geniuses.
