DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Book 3 Premieres Today on Netflix

Dota 2 and Netflix's animated series, DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Book 3 has finally premiered on Netflix today on 11th August. Following where it left off after the finale of season 2 in January 2022, DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Book 3 continues with the aftermath of the Helio Imperium arc & the continued development of Davion’s & Mirana’s storyline. DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Book 3 will also be considered as the finale of the animated series, as the storyline now develops from season 2’s ending into setting up the climactic battle between the main characters & Terrorblade, the main antagonist of the animated series.

“DOTA: Dragon's Blood Book III is now available on Netflix. GO GO GO!! It's a new world out there,” said Dota 2 insider Wykrhm Reddy on Twitter announcing the premiere of DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Book 3 on Netflix today.

DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Book 3 picked itself up after the finale of Book 2 in January 2022, eight months after its premiere. Following the Helio Imperium arc which left our main protagonists on a cliffhanger, the aftermath of the arc will be covered in today’s premiere as well as the conclusion of Davion & Mirana’s quest to defeat the main antagonist, Terrorblade.

DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Book 3 is also expected to be the final season of the Dragon’s Blood series, as the show’s creator Ashley Edward Miller has previously indicated that the story of DOTA: Dragon’s Blood would play out across three seasons. Yet, in an AMA on Twitter, he revealed that he already has ideas regarding a possibility for a season four, depending on Valve’s, Studio Mir’s & Netflix’s decision if they do decide to continue the animated series.

But at the moment, DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Book 3 is expected to be the finale season of the animated series, pending on decisions from Valve & Netflix on its continuation.
