BOOM Esports vs Galaxy Racer: Match recap and highlights

Recap

In Game 1, BOOM Esports chose an in-your-face draft with a mid Earth Spirit, offlane Lycan, and carry Bloodseeker. The team repeatedly engaged the enemies in teamfights, never letting them settle. Among the players, only AlaCrity had a good outing for Galaxy Racer, as they could not handle the pressure the enemies exerted and tapped out of the game after 33 minutes.

Game 2 witnessed BOOM's aggressive playstyle once again. Despite offering tough resistance and taking down some enemies, Galaxy Racer was gradually losing on networth. In this game, Yopaj was also provided with his iconic Puck and he showed off with a 21-4-13 KDA, leading his team to a victory in 43 minutes.

Highlights

Here are some highlights of the series.

BOOM Esports stepped up the heat in the Galaxy Racer matchup with their drafts and playstyle, and even though they lost bodies in the process, they always came out on top. Io has been a preferred hero for the team in the four series they have played thus far, and Rolen Andrei Gabriel "skem" Ong is performing well on the hero despite not having played a great deal of position five heroes in his career.

Galaxy Racer has been up to the mark in the two series they have participated in so far in the current edition. It seems the team is experimenting a bit with their hero selections as they have chosen Monkey King and Outworld Destroyer - two heroes that are not getting picked up very often in this patch. The defending champions still have a lot more Dota 2 action ahead for them, so one can expect them to bounce back soon.
