Recap of B8 vs No Techies

Game one of the series was a gritty fifty-four-minute back and forth between B8 and No Techies. While B8 looked to be the stronger team from game one, they had trouble dealing with the No Techies mid-Puck, which, along with a few unintentional throws set their eventual win back. B8 ended up securing the game just before the hour mark.

Game two, on the other hand, was a complete stomp from the side of B8. The team won both their safe and off-lane courtesy of Nofear on the Enchantress and the fact that No Techies had a Pudge offlane. B8’s carry Phantom Lancer managed to pick up a Diffusal Blade and a very early thirteen-minute timing, after which the game snowballed to B8’s eventual sub-thirty-minute win

Recap of Team Spirit vs Winstrike Team

Game one was a perfectly executed victory for the side of Team Spirit. They managed to secure a lead from early on in the laning stage which they perfectly transitioned into the mid-game to secure the victory around the half-hour mark. The game perfectly showcased the DK and Phoenix meta prevailing currently.

Game two did not bring much difference for the teams. While Winstrike definitely put up a fight, Team Spirit was just the better team overall and came back even after a slight disadvantage after the laning stage. Their secure combo of the Magnus+Phantom Assassin eventually carried and secured the game

In the meantime, we will be seeing other teams play later on the same day with these matchups:

  • Puckchamp vs Team Unique

  • Na’Vi vs EXTREMIUM

  • HellRaisers vs AS Monaco Gambit

Teams like Na’Vi and Team Spirit are the favourites heading into the qualifiers due to recent changes and performances. Na’Vi is coming in with their newly formed superstar lineup with the likes of No[o]ne, RAMZES666, and veteran SoNNeikO captaining the team.

Team Spirit on the other hand has qualified and participated in the recently concluded AniMajor where they secured a respectable Top 8 finish beating the likes of Alliance and Team Liquid. The team has shown a deeper potential than people expected, and it will be interesting to see if they rise to the occasion.
