Following its defeat to OG in the WEU DPC 2021-22 Tour 3: Division 1, Alliance's relegation to Division 2 has been confirmed.
Alliance has had a difficult Tour 3 season thus far, failing to win a single series. Furthermore, it has lost all of them by a 2-0 scoreline.
Alliance's final series in Tour 3 will take place against Entity on 9th July.

Alliance has been demoted back to Division 2 following a streak of bad results in the Western Europe (WEU) Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021-22 Tour 3: Division 1. The relegation was confirmed following Alliance's sixth consecutive series loss in the league, a 2-0 defeat against reigning major winners OG. After being trounced in the first game, Alliance demonstrated some amazing performance in the early stages of the second game before eventually being overwhelmed in the teamfights. OG, on the other side, became the first team to qualify for the PGL Arlington Major with this series victory.

Alliance goes winless in six series to get demoted to WEU Division 2

As Alliance faced OG with relegation at stake, it was always going to be tough. Alliance was easily defeated in the first game, but it did show some resolve with a clear execution of its strategy, one of the few moments in the league where it did.

The team, however, started getting picked off one by one and combined with OG's renowned comeback skills, it lost its 12th straight match. Alliance has not won a single game in the six series it has played in Division 1 this season.

Here are some highlights of the series against OG

During teamfights, Alliance has typically failed to compete with most of its opponents, appearing to be a tier below them. There have been some exciting individual plays in some games, especially Aliwi "w33" Omar's, but the team as a whole has been unimpressive.

The roster problems have also surfaced for the team since Moiez "symetricaL" Lin was let go before the series against OG. Oleg "Eternal Sadness" Kuzemsky, a relatively unknown player from Ukraine, was called in to fill in against OG. Whether he will play in the team's final series against Entity on 9th July remains unknown.

The focus for Alliance will now shift to preparing for The International 11 (TI11) regional qualifier. Before this qualifier, the squad will get the opportunity to have some official match practice at the ESL One Malaysia, which takes place in late August this year.

The new OG lineup, on the other hand, is still in peak form, being the first team to qualify for the PGL Arlington Major. The team is nearly guaranteed a seat at TI11, and it will want to keep this momentum going in its final series as well as any tournaments it plays in leading up to TI11. OG has also been invited to ESL One Malaysia.

With Alliance's relegation confirmed, one more WEU team needs to be dropped to Division 2. According to the current standings and recent performances, Gaimin Gladiators and goonsquad appear to be the probable candidates for it.
