Fnatic Adds Deth to Complete Dota 2 Roster Ahead of TI10 Qualifiers
- Fnatic has recruited Singaporean player, Yang "Deth" Wu Heng, in the offlane to finalize its Dota 2 roster ahead of the TI10 SEA qualifiers.
- As a result of this roster update, ChYuan, who had been Fnatic’s offlaner, will now be playing in the mid lane.
- The TI10 SEA qualifiers are scheduled for June 30 - July 3, 2021, and will determine one team from the region that qualifies for TI10.
Fnatic has recruited Singaporean player, Yang "Deth" Wu Heng, in the offlane to finalize its Dota 2 roster ahead of the TI10 SEA qualifiers. As a result of this roster update, the organization informed its fans via its social media handles that Ng "ChYuan" Kee Chyuan, who had been Fnatic’s offlaner, will now be playing in the mid lane. Deth replaces Malaysian midlaner, Kam "Moon" Boon Seng, who was made inactive last week. Fnatic has not been on top of its game lately and will be looking to regain some momentum with its new roster at the upcoming TI10 qualifiers.

Deth joins Fnatic as the offlaner; ChYuan gets to play mid again
After nearly seven years in the Dota 2 pro scene, Deth finally lands his big break as he joins Fnatic.
Deth's rise to popularity dates back just a few months when he showed off his offlane prowess at the Singapore Major. He was called in at the last minute to stand in for OB.Neon and helped the team achieve a 5 - 6th finish.

- Marc Polo Luis "Raven" Fausto
- Ng "ChYuan" Kee Chyuan
- Yang "Deth" Wu Heng
- Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong
- Djardel Jicko B. "DJ" Mampusti
ChYuan had surprisingly been added to Fnatic’s roster ahead of the second DPC season. His lack of efficiency in the offlane coupled with the fact that he is back to his original role in the midlane indicates that his recruitment for that initial role hasn't worked out as expected.
With essentially two new players on board, Fnatic will be looking to regroup and come stronger at the TI10 SEA qualifiers. The team's performances have gradually fallen from the early months of 2020 when they competed with iceiceice and 23savage. Raven has been a decent replacement for 23savage, but it has been difficult to find a replacement for iceiceice with Fnatic trying out multiple offlaners like Masaros and then ChYuan without too much success. Moon’s form has also declined in 2021 which led to his exit from the team.

The TI10 SEA qualifiers are scheduled for June 30 - July 3, 2021, and will include top teams of the region like BOOM Esports, Motivate.Trust Gaming, and perhaps even OB.Neon and TNC Predator. Teams will be competing in a double-elimination playoffs bracket. All matches will be BO3 except for the grand finals that are a BO5. Only one team will be securing the TI10 slot.
