Team Nigma has made a roster change ahead of the 2021 DPC Season 2 by moving their midlaner, w33 from the team’s active roster. The organization announced this roster change through their social media handles, stating that Aliwi "w33" Omar will be serving as the team’s 6th player for the time being. This is the team’s first roster change since its formation in November 2019. W33 has also been allowed to explore new opportunities which directly means that the two parties do not intend to play together in the times to come. The midlaner’s exit from the team ensues a disappointing result at the recently concluded ONE Esports Singapore Major where the team finished last.

The organization thanked the player for his contribution, stating that they were “grateful that he is a part of the Team Nigma family.”

W33 had been an integral part since June 2019 when he joined by replacing MATUMBAMAN ahead of the Epicenter Major and TI9. The team, then played under the tag of Team Liquid, had gone on to finish as the runner-ups of TI9. After the tournament, the team had formed their own organization, Team Nigma.

Though the team looked solid in the initial months after their formation as they won WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020 and WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Mad Moon, they did not have a very successful period of online Dota 2.  They were only able to muster a win in the OGA Dota PIT S2: Europe/CIS.

Team Nigma had competed at the ONE Esports Singapore Major wild card on March 27-28, 2021. Though touted as one of the favorites to advance to the group stages, the team surprisingly finished last, winning just one out of 10 matches. However, it is to be noted that they were playing with their coach Roman "rmN-" Paleya as Ivan Borislavov "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov was unable to attend the tournament.

Though W33 had become a staple part of the team’s roster, he was always at the forefront of community backlash whenever it came to bad performances.
