CIS Team Yellow Submarine Offered $13k~ USD To Match-Fix
- The offlaner of CIS team Yellow Submarine was approached by fixers to intentionally throw a game.
- He was offered more than $12,850 USD to throw this game, which is much higher than the money the player would receive if his team managed to secure a 3rd place finish.
Following the allegations made against Cyber Legacy and the subsequent lack of proof following it, another instance of alleged match-fixing has popped up in the CIS region. Yellow Submarine was allegedly approached to throw games with the team’s manager claiming that a player was offered 1 million Russian rubles ($12,850 USD) to do so.

Yellow Submarine’s Offlaner Receives A Massive Offer To Throw Games
According to a screenshot of a Discord chat which was shared by the manager of Yellow Submarine, Offlaner Magomed “Collapse” Halilov was offered 1 million Russian rubles to throw their game against Na’Vi in ESL One Germany 2020. Collapse was told that two other players from his team would also be brought in as part of this deal if he agreed.
“Hi, there's an opportunity to make some good money on tomorrow’s match against Navi. More than prize money you get with a win or a loss. If you agree, don't tell your manager. Besides you there will be 2 players from your team. You three will share 1 million rubbles +”
Yellow Submarine’s manager noted that this was the first time he encountered such a situation at a major championship. He stated that he was skeptical about the allegations made on Cyber Legacy by the bookmakers since there was no evidence. But after seeing his players get approached for match-fixing, he thinks that there is a possibility.

Yellow Submarine faces off against Na’Vi in an elimination match at ESL One Germany 2020. The loser of this match will be eliminated from the tournament and will walk away with $7,500 in prize winnings.
