Fnatic finally gets their revenge and beats BOOM Esports in a thrilling semifinal encounter. The team will now face Team Adroit in the Grand Finals of the ESL One LA Online SEA Division.

This morning’s semifinal matches pinned Fnatic against Indonesian powerhouse BOOM Esports. Mikoto and co. had an impressive winning spree until yesterday when it finally came to a close against Team Adroit.

However, two consecutive losses see them get eliminated before the Grand Finals.

Fnatic vs BOOM Esports

Game 1: Fnatic once again, won the first game of the series with some good aggressive play allowing them to cruise to victory thanks to their early-mid game domination and some costly mistakes from BOOM Esports.

Game 2: With the pressure mounting, BOOM Esports managed to push the series to a game 3 on the back of Mikoto’s 14/3/17 Ember Spirit. Fnatic simply had no answers for Mikoto who wreaked havoc in the backlines while Dreamocel’s Lifestealer secured the win with his calm and calculated plays.

Game 3: The final game of the series was as even as it gets in the early-midgame stages. However, some errors in late game team fights from the Indonesians allowed Fnatic a small window to take control of the game. Being the more experienced team, Fnatic easily capitalised, securing the win and moving on to the Grand Finals.

Fnatic will now face Team Adroit for the ESL One LA Online - SEA Division title and the lion’s share of the $40,000 prize pool.
