Reality Rift has been knocked out from the ESL SEA Championship 2020 featuring some of the finest teams in the Southeast Asian region. The $20,000 tournament also features a spot in the SEA regional qualifiers for ESL One Birmingham 2020 up for grabs.

Group A commenced earlier yesterday and saw Team Adroit, Reality Rift, Motivade.Trust Gaming and Army Geniuses compete in it. In a surprising turn of events, the Thai team Motivade.Trust Gaming managed to top the Group beating two Major calibre teams in Reality Rift and Adroit.

The Thai team is building up a serious reputation of going toe-to-toe against some of the best in the region. Previously, they were the team who eliminated Cloud9 in the ESL One Los Angeles Major SEA Open Qualifiers.

Reality Rift and Team Adroit played the deciding game of their group which would determine who would make it to the Semifinals of the tournament.

Team Adroit manage to clutch the first game on the back of Mac’s incredible showing on his Ember Spirit. He had put up a ridiculous 18/3/11 scoreline by the end of the game.

Unfortunately, due to Internet issues, the 2nd game wasn’t broadcast by ESL Asia. However, Adroit managed to close out the game and secure the win by 37 minutes to claim a spot in the semifinals.

The tournament will resume two weeks later, after the ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Major.
