Talon's carry, Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon, spoke about the differences between Talon and his previous teams, T1 and Fnatic, in a recent post-match DPC interview.
23savage said that his previous teams had more experienced players, but here at Talon, it was not the case. As a result, he sometimes had a more senior role here, which he enjoyed more.
Talon has so far been undefeated in DPC Division 2 and established itself as the frontrunner for one of the two Division 1 slots.

Over the course of his short career, Thai carry player Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon has had experience with a range of teams in the Southeast Asia (SEA) region, including Fnatic, T1, and Talon Esports. During a recent Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) post match winner's interview, 23savage explained how it is different playing for his previous teams, like Fnatic and T1, and his current team, Talon Esports. As 23savage pointed out, Fnatic and T1 had a lot of experienced players but this is not the case in Talon Esports. As a result, at Talon Esports, he gets to lead the team on some occasions.

23savage is more of a leader at Talon than he was at other teams

Following stints with SEA household names like Fnatic and T1 in the past couple of years, 23savage is now part of Talon, a squad mostly made up of young talent from the region, with the exception of Damien "kpii" Chok.

23savage came to the DPC SEA 2021-22 Tour 2: Division 2 winner's interview after Talon's fourth consecutive series win. He said that the major difference between his past and current teams is the level of experience. He explained that he sometimes had a more senior role here which he enjoyed more.

“Things here are a bit different from what I have experienced because before, I was in Fnatic, T1. They were pretty experienced but right now my teammates do not have a lot of experience so right now, I kinda lead them sometimes. It’s more fun.”

23savage played for Fnatic and T1 alongside some of the most experienced players in SEA including Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang, Carlo "Kuku" Palad, and Djardel Jicko B. "DJ" Mampusti.

Now looking to make a mark with a relatively inexperienced yet talented squad, 23savage and Talon have looked dominant and comprehensive in Tour 2 so far, and have not dropped a single game. 23savage said that he felt "nothing" after being undefeated for four games, stressing that they were focused on winning it all and making it to Division 1.

“Nothing. We just need to win everything anyway so it’s just part of the progress. We gonna go to Division 1 and hopefully, we can get to the Major and TI.”

Due to its outstanding play, Talon has established itself as the frontrunner for one of the two Division 1 slots. RSG is another undefeated team in Division 2 with four series wins. If the two teams keep competing the way they have, it is likely that Talon and RSG will be battling for the top spot in Division 2. The matchup between the two teams has not yet been scheduled.
