ZywOo Records Career Worst LAN Performance at IEM Katowice 2022
The French marksmen was not too sharp with the AWP.
It is not often that you see the French marksmen, Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, not being the top performer for his side and it is even rarer for him to be at the very bottom. Well, this disappointingly rare occurrence for the 21-year-old unfortunately happened during Vitality's faceoff against Gambit in a do-or-die match at the IEM Katowice 2022.
ZywOo managed an overall HLTV rating of just 0.77 against Gambit, taking a hard hit on the first map Mirage where he registered the worst single map performance of his career on LAN, securing just three frags while going down 18 times.
ZywOo registers worst single map performance on LAN in CS:GO career so far
Team Vitality faced a do-or-die situation in the lower bracket of IEM Katowice 2022 against Gambit Esports yesterday on 20th February. Already having faced a close '2-0' defeat against Heroic earlier in the group stage, Vitality was hoping to make it to the playoffs through the lower bracket.
Unfortunately, their star player ZywOo failed to step up and dominate when required the most. Despite a solid start by the team on Mirage, ZywOo was not able to make his presence felt on the first map with just three frags to his name, resulting in a HLTV rating of 0.32 and K/D of -15.
He did recover by the second map Inferno, but it was a bit too late as Gambit still managed to beat them by a '16-12' scoreline. This resulted in an elimination for Team Vitality as they finished at the 9th-12th position at the IEM Katowice 2022.
Last year, during the BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2021 while playing against Complexity on Overpass, ZywOo had recorded his worst performance on a single map with a rating of just 0.28 in the game. However, that game took place online.
While that continues to be his worst performance ever, yesterday's game was his lowest ever showing in a LAN setup.
