S1mple goes bold with the AWP against Renegades on Dust 2 to secure an incredible ace.
The Ukrainian CS:GO pro fearlessly walked down 'Mid' to complete the ace which involved a wallbang and a quick scope.
Na'Vi won '2-1' against Renegades and are poised to play against Vitality later today.

Na'Vi star AWPer, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, reminded everyone why he is one of the best CS:GO players in the world a few days back against Renegades on Dust 2. Armed with the big green bolt action sniper, s1mple was feeling himself as he decided to charge down 'Mid' on the 21st round. The outcome was an incredible ace which included a fantastic wallbang and a quick scope, the only thing missing to make this a complete show was the classic hip shot. This was the highlight clip of the three-game series between the two sides, where Renegades, despite a '1-0' lead, failed to close down the match as Na'Vi ran away with comfortable '16-6', '16-4' victories.

S1mple Shows Off Some Bold Moves With The AWP

Na'Vi has so far put on quite the show at IEM Cologne 2021, winning their first match against Renegades, as competitive Counter-Strike once again returned to LAN. Despite losing the first map, Inferno, Na'Vi did not get flustered and continued to play their natural game, sticking to their strengths.

Leading them was none other than s1mple who secured an insane HLTV rating of 1.68 across the entirety of the series. With a K/D difference of +41, s1mple had the golden touch especially with the AWP which obliterated Renegades' hopes of taking down Na'Vi.

The clip above was the highlight of the entire series when s1mple just went down 'Mid' on Dust 2, a really bold move considering that Renegades had four players in that area. He hit them with everything, from a wallbang through the doors, to a quick scope in 'Lower Tunnels'.

He seemed unstoppable as he grabbed the ace and took Na'Vi to map point, taking only 12 points of damage in return. His side went on to level the series by winning on Dust 2 and followed this up with another easy win on the deciding map Nuke.

Na'Vi is scheduled to go up against Vitality next and this will be their true test of strength, a rivalry involving two of the best CS:GO players in the world. The winner of this faceoff will advance to the Upper Bracket Finals of 'Group-B'.
