Vitality ApEX Talks About Team's Poor Performance at ESL Pro League Season 15

Team Vitality did not enjoy a great outing at the ESL Pro League (EPL) Season 15, facing elimination in the group stage itself following a bleak overall performance. The French organization had opted to go for an international CS:GO roster earlier this year in January, following the arrival of the Danish trio, but so far things have not gone well for them in LAN outings.

Reflecting on the team's poor performance at the EPL Season 15, Vitality's captain Dan "apEX" Madesclaire said that the tournament was a disaster for them where nothing was going right for them, as he went on to list a few reasons related to this.

ApEX shares his thoughts on Team Vitality's performance at ESL Pro League Season 15

The French CS:GO veteran apEX, the current IGL (In-Game Leader) of Team Vitality, was clearly not happy with their performance during the 'Group-B' qualifiers of the ESL Pro League Season 15.

Vitality started off strong with a '2-0' victory against Sprout, but this was followed by three consecutive loses against ENCE, FURIA Esports, and FaZe Clan, which resulted in their elimination from the tournament.

Talking about their performance and approach in the tournament, apEX via a public statement on Twitter said that, "This tournament was a disaster on our side, nothing was going right. Lack of individual confidence led to this defeat".

He went on to talk about the upcoming European RMR (Regional Major Rankings) tournament, which will be acting as the qualifier for the PGL Major Antwerp 2022. With roughly one month left for the event, Vitality is all set to start practicing for it Wednesday onwards, 23^rd March.

"Believe me we will live CS:GO to the fullest to get extremely close to the RMR," said apEX, "Sorry to have disappointed you but everything is made up of ups and downs, and right now the downs are pretty darn hard".

To provide further clarifications, apEX went on to state that there were no real worries on the team and that the atmosphere is really amazing as everyone is getting along really well.

Team Vitality did start off strong by attaining a top three finish at the BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022 and qualified for the Spring Finals. But their performance has been pretty lacklustre when it comes to LAN tournaments like IEM Katowice 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 15.

It will be interesting to see if Vitality is able to turn things around for themselves at the RMR tournament which will be taking place in PGL Studios at Bucharest, Romania.
