Team Vitality Announces New CS:GO Roster Featuring zonic, dupreeh and magisk

Team Vitality announced the signing of Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen and Emil "magisk" Reif as part of its new CS:GO roster.
The team will now be led by former Astralis coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen.

Team Vitality just announced its new CS:GO Roster which will feature some of the biggest names to compete in the European circuit. According to a release, the new roster comes a part of a €50 Million ($66.75M) investment from Rewired.gg spread over the next three years to bolster European talent in esports.

Here are the players who will be representing the new CS:GO roster:

  • Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen

  • Emil "magisk" Reif

  • Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut

  • Dan "apEX" Madesclaire

  • Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier

  • Danny "zonic" Sørensen (Coach)

The news comes shortly after the reveal of Vitality’s new League of Legends roster which is headed by elite players Luka “Perkz” Perković and back-to-back European Champion Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság.

Dupreeh is one of only five to have attended every CS:GO Major with titles secured at an impressive four tournaments including ELEAGUE Major: Atlanta 2017, FACEIT London Major 2018, IEM Katowice 2019, and StarLadder Major: Berlin 2019.

Magisk also joins Team Vitality with a long list of accolades including winning the prestigious $1 million Intel Grand Slam. Finally, former Astralis coach zonic is set to lead the team with his experience as a coach to lead the team to victory in 2022 and beyond.

Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut said in the official announcement, “I couldn’t be more excited to have dupreeh, magisk, and zonic join the team. Together they have achieved so much and I know there is a lot both myself and the team can learn from them. I am so ready to show everyone how far this team can go!”

Team Vitality seeks to dominate League of Legends and CS:GO in Europe and it seeks to use Rewired’s recent investment to develop new facilities, bolster its performance staff and develop a strong leadership team for both esports and lifestyle industries. Performance at international events is the number one priority for Team Vitality as it seeks to compete in CS:GO Majors and League of Legends Worlds in the next three years.
