The Kinguin Legends CS:GO Tournament has concluded with Mikail "Maikelele" Bill's team walking away as the champions following an intense grand final against the Ukrainian roster led by Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev.

This event featuring a €50,000 EUR total prize pool was a breath of fresh air that was celebrated enthusiastically by the entire CS:GO community, especially the older players who have witnessed all the veterans compete at their peak in the past.

It was a nostalgic moment for many, while others got a look at the older generation of players, fighting through an intense round-robin group stage culminating into the single-elimination gauntlet-style playoffs.

With €50,000 EUR on the line and a chance to go up against some of their peers from the bygone days, six legendary players along with their teams delivered plenty of top notch action last week from 13th to 18th September.

  1. Mikail "Maikelele" Bill

  2. Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev

  3. Filip "NEO" Kubski

  4. Kenny "kennyS" Schrub

  5. Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski

  6. Emil "HeatoN" Christensen

The players listed above were the six captains and have been arranged as per the final rankings of the Kinguin Legends CS:GO Tournament.

HeatoN and pashaBiceps were the first two teams that were eliminated from the tournament. The former bowing out without registering even a single win while the latter despite a winning start lost its next four matches on the trot.

Maikelele's team stood first to directly claim a spot in the grand final, NEO stood second to qualify for the semifinals, while Edward and kennyS brawled it out in the quarterfinals.

Edward commanded his Ukrainian roster all the way till the grand finals where Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev and Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev stepped in for Serhii "DemQQ" Demchenko and Evhen "j3kie" Serhachev.

Despite the additional star power, Edward's team failed to close out the series against Maikelele. It pushed the last two maps to overtime but it was unable to attain victory which resulted in a '1-2' loss for the side.
