S1mple Talks About Boombl4 Situation: “He Made So Many Stupid Mistakes”

Ahead of the upcoming BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022., NAVI star AWPer, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, during a press conference answered various questions, and even spoke about the controversial situation involving former NAVI CS:GO player Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhaylov.

Answering a query related his former NAVI CS:GO teammate, s1mple merely said "I mean, he did so many stupid mistakes and decisions that we told him to not do. And that's how it works, when you do a lot of mistakes at the end you'll get this karma."

The revamped CS:GO roster of Natus Vincere (NAVI) is all set for a debut at the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022. All the players have already reached Lisbon, Portugal where CS:GO returns to the forefront in front of a live audience at the Altice Arena.

The former NAVI shotcaller, Boombl4, is caught up in a controversial situation with his ex-wife following their recent divorce, as he plans to take legal action against her with a defamation lawsuit. The Ukrainian esports organization having a good read on the situation had released the 23-year-old CS:GO player from the team right after the PGL Antwerp Major 2022, citing "high reputational risk for the club".

One of the former NAVI CS:GO players who has been vocal about this situation is s1mple, who in an earlier Twitch stream while engaging with his audience had said that the NAVI CS:GO team had warned Boombl4 about the possibility of things going wrong prior to this situation.

"Nothing, he got involved with a dirty w****! He was told by everyone ‘Kirill, don’t do this, don’t mess with her, she’s a w****,’ and he either loved her or not, I don’t know — got attached to her. I hope that’s all, he won’t mess with her anymore.”

He had also revealed that even before the whole mess had gone public, he had warned Boombl4 about him potentially getting blackmailed by his ex-wife, which is what eventually transpired.

Reflecting on all of this once again during the press conference, when he was prompted to talk about the Boombl4 situation, s1mple repeated that everyone had told him not to make any stupid decisions, but he ended up committing them and it was just karma balancing itself out.

Right now, NAVI is in Lisbon for the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022 all set to go up against OG in their opening match of 'Group-B', which is scheduled to take place later today on 15^th June at 20:30 IST.
