One of the best CS:GO players in the world Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev received a donation of more than 51,000 Rubles ($710 USD) a few days back while streaming on Twitch. The amount was given by popular Russian national ice hockey player Evgeni Malkin who is a huge fan of the Ukrainian esports organization NAVI.

The donation was made while s1mple was well into his third hour of streaming CS:GO, four days ago on 6th October 2021. It was during the 17th round of a game on Mirage when the 24-year-old received $710 USD from 'evg71geno' which belongs to the Russian forward.

NAVI star player and one of the best marksmen in the world, s1mple, is one of the most popular CS:GO streamers on Twitch. The Ukrainian also indulges in other shooter titles from time to time, like Call of Duty: Warzone, Valorant, and more.

With more than 2.7 million followers on Twitch, s1mple has an active and dedicated following that looks forward to his streams whenever he is not competing with NAVI.

In the last 30 days itself, s1mple has managed to gain more than 100,000 followers with an average of about 19,000 viewers, according to Streams Charts. It is quite the impressive feat as one must also consider that during that time span he was also busy competing and practising with the team.

Receiving more than 51,000 Rubles in donation from the Russian ice hockey forward Evgeni Malkin had s1mple shook for a moment, which was followed by a smile.

The account from which s1mple received the donation was 'evg71geno'. The username belongs to Malkin, 71 being his jersey number and 'Geno' being his nickname given to him by the fans of the Pittsburg Penguins - NHL (National Hockey League) team.
