One of the best riflers in the world, ropz, is reportedly set to leave MOUZ after nearly five years.
G2 Esports and FaZe Clan are the CS:GO teams that have reportedly shown the most interest in signing ropz for 2022.
Ropz might replace olofmeister if FaZe Clan signs him. If G2 Esports acquires him there is a possibility of him replacing anyone other than huNter- and NiKo.

Estonian CS:GO player, Robin "ropz" Kool, is reportedly set to leave MOUZ next year in 2022. The star rifler has shown consistent improvement with each passing year, since starting out with the German esports organization in 2017. Despite his best efforts the team has failed to deliver as a unit when it comes to winning important CS:GO titles and tournaments.

Now, almost five years later the 21-year-old is ready to leave MOUZ and seek better opportunities for achieving the accolades that have long eluded him. Two teams that are most eager to sign the talented rifler are G2 Esports and FaZe Clan, according to reports by 1pv.fr and Aleksey "OverDrive" Biryukov.

Report: Ropz all set to leave MOUZ next year in 2022, most likely to join G2 or FaZe

One of the most talented lurkers in CS:GO and a highly sought-after talent, ropz, is finally on his way out of MOUZ as per 1pv.fr's report. After spending close to five years with the team, ropz has seemingly decided that it is time for him to move on and see what other opportunities lie in front of him.

For now, G2 Esports and FaZe Clan are the two esports organizations that are eagerly waiting to acquire the Estonian powerhouse. There are two ways this deal goes down, either ropz can be bought out of his contract in the next few weeks or he will be signed after his contract with MOUZ expires after three months in March 2022.

An important question arises in the form of who will the 21-year-old replace on either team. If ropz gets acquired by FaZe Clan he could be replacing Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer Gustafsson. But if G2 esports acquires him there is a strong possibility that ropz could replace anyone other than Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač.

While there aren't too many speculated moves associated with FaZe Clan, G2 certainly has a lot going on for them. The biggest reported move involving G2 Esports is the acquisition of NAVI Junior breakout player Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, with an estimated $600,000 USD buyout. Then there is also the report involving Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen's transfer over from OG.

It will be interesting to see where the young rifler ends up going and whether it will be enough for him to win the biggest CS:GO tournaments in 2022.
