Sjokz has announced her return to hosting CS:GO tournaments after more than two years.
The last CS:GO tournament that Sjokz had hosted was the BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Regular Season in February 2020.
Sjokz will be the desk host at both the European RMR tournaments running from 17 to 24 April alongside James Banks.

One of the most popular esports talents in the world, Eefje "Sjokz" Depoortere, will be hosting the upcoming PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR (Regional Major Rankings) alongside the mainstay host James Banks.

The 34-year-old announced her return to working with a CS:GO tournament on the 12th of April, having previously hosted the BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Regular Season more than two years ago.

Sjokz in a statement on Reddit revealed that she had been wanting to work at more CS:GO tournaments ever since hosting the BLAST tournament, before the competitive circuit had shifted online temporarily. However, due to the pandemic and scheduling problems, things did not work out for her until now.

Sjokz announces her return to hosting CS:GO events with the upcoming European RMR

The popular League of Legends (LoL) talent, Sjokz, will be seen hosting the two European RMR tournaments scheduled to take place from 17th to 24th April alongside James Banks.

This is not her first gig in the Valve shooter as she has previously worked as a desk host in multiple BLAST tournaments like BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Regular Season, BLAST Pro Series: Los Angeles 2019, and BLAST Pro Series: São Paulo 2019.

She used to regularly host a CS:GO tournament every few months back in 2019-2020 and the streak that had just started building broke when the competitive circuit shifted online. Now, after a break of more than two years the LEC (European LCS) mainstay, who has branched out into many other titles, will be returning to CS:GO once again.

In 2020, Sjokz earned the title of 'Best Esports Host' given to her by The Game Awards. Additionally, she also speaks five languages and holds two master's degrees. She is also one of the pioneers in the esports industry as a host with more than 11 years of experience.

Many teams, organizations, players, and other personalities congratulated her for the opportunity while also wishing her the best.

With both the talents and the matchups for the European RMR being announced, it remains to be seen which 16 teams make it though to the Antwerp Major.
