CAL India announced with dedicated FACEIT servers located in Mumbai

CSGO2ASIA has announced the launch of CAL India, the new CS:GO hub dedicated to South Asian players all set to be housed on FACEIT's servers located in Mumbai.

The hub which is all set to go live with its inaugural season from 1st November onwards will be released with the following standard features:

  • All the games will be hosted on a 128-tick rate server.

  • There will be an obligatory use of an anti-cheat.

  • Dedicated admin support will be provide by the CSGO2ASIA League staff.

  • Standard competition rules will be maintained and followed throughout.

  • Presence of the custom-built CAL BOT which automatically assigns matched players to voice rooms within the official CAL Discord server.

The CAL India hub will also be donning a fresh appearance to distinguish itself vividly from the regular hubs, while housing a multi-division structure comprising of Division 1 and Division 2.

This will help in grouping all the participating players across two divisions solely based on their skill level. Here, Division 1 will include players with comparable skill levels ranging from level 6 to 10, while Division 2 will consist of players with intermediate skill levels from 1 to 5.

The pre-season leaderboards shall begin from 22nd October onwards offering a total prize pool of INR 10,000 and 2,00,000 FACEIT points. This will act as an opportunity for interested players to place themselves on top of the hub leaderboard before the first season kicks off a week later.

Since 2018, the league has grown tremendously and we’re fortunate to still be active in CS:GO despite the lack of progression in our region. CAL India has been a long while in the making, and we’re thrilled that our partners at FACEIT could make it happen, even if it’s come later than everyone expected!
