The heavily speculated transfer of Brollan, from Fnatic to Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP), has finally come true ahead of the upcoming Major cycle.
Brollan will not be a part of NIP's CS:GO roster for the upcoming playoffs stage of the ESL Pro League Season 15 due to transfer regulations implemented by ESL.
Brollan has been confirmed as part of NIP's active CS:GO lineup for the upcoming European RMR and potentially the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 as well.

Swedish rifler Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin has left Fnatic to join Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP), laying all the rumors and speculations to rest. The 19-year-old, after having competed with Fnatic for more than three years, has left the organization following a long transfer discussion with NIP, as the two went back and forth on the reported signing amount.

The star entry fragger joins NIP ahead of the playoffs of the ESL Pro League Season 15, with the team directly making its way into the quarterfinals by topping 'Group-A'. However, he will not be able to join the team's active roster for this event due to the transfer regulations implemented by ESL, which state that teams are only allowed to change their submitted rosters in emergency situations.

Brollan will be joining NIP directly for the European RMR (Regional Major Rankings) event and potentially at the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 as well. It will be interesting to see the final CS:GO roster that the Swedish organization decides to register ahead of the tournament.

NIP completes Brollan's transfer ahead of Antwerp Major

The heavily speculated transfer of Brollan from Fnatic to NIP has finally been completed, as the Swedish entry fragger takes his place in the active roster ahead of the team's preparations for the Major cycle.

NIP is part of 'Group-B' for the European RMR which is scheduled to take place from 21st to 24th April in the PGL Studios at Bucharest, Romania. While his arrival has not resulted in the departure of any player on NIP's current active roster, a change will need to be made after ESL Pro League Season 15, to accommodate Brollan in the playing five.

Though NIP has not officially confirmed so far what their lineup for the Major cycle could be, according to HLTV either Nicolas "Plopski" Gonzalez Zamora or Love "phzy" Smidebrant could step down to make way for Brollan.

"Super excited for this new chapter in my career," said Brollan in a public statement, while wishing his former teammates the best of luck for the future.

He also thanked Fnatic for giving him an opportunity and taking a chance on him despite his age at the time, "Thank you for believing in me and I will be forever grateful for every memory we have had along the road," added Brollan.

Farewell statement by Brollan

“We’ve been looking at Brollan for years now — every serious team has. In my mind it hasn’t been a question of whether he would join, but when, and I think he’s chosen a fantastic time," said Jonas Gundersen, CEO of NIP.

NIP has undergone a lot of changes in the past few months, making Brollan its third high-profile signing. Though the team has not had a great start to the 2022 circuit so far, the roster now looks promising with the addition of the new star entry fragger, as Nicolai "device" Reedtz continues to be on medical leave due to mental health issues.
