NAVI's IGL Boombl4 shares his thoughts on upcoming CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) derby match against Gambit Esports at PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
The two CIS giants will be going up against each other later tonight in the semifinals of the Major.
NAVI has remained undefeated so far in the Major while Gambit has dropped just one map on their way to the semifinals.

The CS:GO community is eager to witness the semifinal match between the top CIS teams, Natus Vincere and Gambit Esports, at the currently ongoing PGL Major Stockholm 2021. Both the teams are in phenomenal form, NAVI undefeated so far while Gambit has dropped only one map.

The faceoff between the two CIS giants is very well capable of breaking some viewership records, as they go up against each other in front of a live audience in Stockholm. NAVI's in-game leader (IGL) Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhaylov spoke in detail about the upcoming match in an interview with WePlay, the Russian broadcast partners for the Major.

Boombl4 shares his thoughts on the upcoming semifinal match between NAVI and Gambit

NAVI's CS:GO captain Boombl4 has been leading his side flawlessly within the circuit, with of course a lot of help from the team's coach Andrii "B1ad3" Horodenskyi. Yesterday in an interview with WePlay, the 22-year-old shared his thoughts on the upcoming match stating the importance of the match for the CIS region as a whole but refrained from making any loud comments.

I think no one will make any loud statements at the CS:GO Major Championships. What for? It will only add more pressure. I will not say that we will beat someone. In any case, I would say that tomorrow [6th November] is going to be a celebration for the CIS, because two teams from the region are going to play in the semifinals and one of then will definitely be in the grand final. I think it will be a cool match and we will try to give it our best. We understand how important this is.

In addition to this, Boombl4 acknowledged how they have been recognized as the Major winning team right from the very beginning of the tournament, with even some of the eliminated teams and players indicating that NAVI is most likely to win the tournament. However, the team itself is trying not to concentrate on all of this as it only adds additional pressure on them to perform well.

It will be interesting to see how the two teams perform against each other and which CIS team will come out on top at the end of the best-of-three series. The winner will move on forward into the grand finals of the PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
