Blink Entertainment CS:GO Pro League Season 1: Group Stage Day 2 Recap
Her is all the action that unfolded on the second day.
Blink Entertainment is hosting the ongoing CS:GO Pro League Season 1 to promote one of the most iconic competitive shooters within India. It hosts a modest total prize pool of INR 1,00,000 and eight qualifying teams competing for the championship title.
The online qualifiers had taken place from 28th to 31st August, through which the final eight teams had qualified for the Playoffs, scheduled to take place from 2nd to 7th September.
Here is quick recap of all the action that took place on the first two days of the Playoffs.
CS:GO Pro League Season 1: Group Stage Day 2 Recap
The first day of the tournament witnessed the first set of group stage matches take place between four teams, Fired Up Gaming vs. Original Gangsters and ROG Academy vs. L.O.T. Gaming.
Original Gangsters was able to claim an easy victory against Fired Up Gaming with a 16-1 scoreline. On the other hand, ROG Academy was able to win against L.O.T. Gaming on Overpass.
Coming to the second day of the group stage, another set of matches took place between four teams, Marcos vs. Random 5 and Gods Reign vs. Wasted Potential.
Marcos vs. Random 5
The two teams started their group-stage journey with a match on Inferno. Marcos started out as CT and took an early lead showing great synergy which resulted in an 11-4 finish for them at halftime
In the second half, Marcos showed their prowess on attack, building on their momentum to finish the match with a 16-8 scoreline, not facing any serious resistance.
Gods Reign vs. Wasted Potential
Even these teams went against each other on Inferno where Gods Reign started as CT and instantly started building a bank of successful round wins, but Wasted Potential fought back to close the difference and finished the half with a 9-6 scoreline.
Unfortunately, Wasted Potential could not keep pace as Gods Reigns started hammering them with their attack and within no time closed the map with a 16-8 score.
This is all the action that took place on the first two days of the CS:GO Pro League Season 1 which is being organized by Blink Entertainment. The current stage will continue to take place till 7th September after which the Finals will directly take place on 10th September.
All teams will be trying to at least secure a top four spot because doing so will automatically qualify them for the CS:GO Pro League Season 2, which has been planned to take place on LAN.
