NAVI is all set for the upcoming BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022 with sdy being signed as its temporary fifth player.
During a recent livestream, b1t confirmed that electroNic will be the IGL for the revamped NAVI CS:GO roster.
Earlier, xaoc had stated that NAVI was considering electroNic as the shotcaller for the side.

The Ukrainian esports organization, Natus Vincere (NAVI), is all set to compete in the upcoming BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022 with its revamped CS:GO roster. While the lineup can finally start its practice for the event, which will be taking place in Lisbon, Portugal from 15th to 19th June, the fans are still trying to figure out who would be leading the team in the server.

Though Oleksii "xaoc" Kucherov - COO of NAVI, in an earlier statement had revealed that NAVI was considering handing over the reins to Denis "electroNic" Sharipov, nothing had been set in stone at that point in time.

However, it seems that the organization has now made its decision with Valerii "b1t" Vakhovskyi naming electroNic as the captain for NAVI going ahead, during a recent livestream session.

NAVI rookie b1t names electroNic as IGL of its CS:GO team

NAVI is all set to try out Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev as its fifth player, who temporarily joins the team in place of Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhaylov, as sdy makes his way over from MAD Lions on a free loan. This will be a crucial performance for the Ukrainian rifler as his future with the organization depends on how he does at the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022.

Statement by sdy on joining NAVI

This was considered an odd signing by the organization because Boombl4 was the team's shotcaller, but instead of getting another IGL (In-Game Leader) to replace him NAVI went for a rifler which raised a lot of eyebrows, making it evidently clear that someone from the existing roster would be leading the team.

Though it had been hinted that electroNic could be the one guiding NAVI in the server, the confirmation seems to have come via the 19-year-old star player, b1t, who during a recent livestream confirmed that electroNic was the captain for NAVI at this point in time.

NAVI itself has not made an official statement on the matter, but this seems to be the most logical step for the organization with its current set of CS:GO players.

Despite being one of the best teams in the world, NAVI might not be at its full strength in coming times as they try to figure out the right set of players and their associated roles.
