[Watch] Snax Takes Brilliant Ace Against NIP During Controversial Mirage Rematch

The controversy struck rematch between Ninjas in Pyjamas and Anonymo Esports which took place yesterday on May 18 witnessed a really close match between the two sides. Both Flashpoint and NIP were heavily criticised for the rematch, but the game still took place and Anonymo really stood up to the challenge. Leading the Polish lineup was the senior player    Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski with 27 kills to his name and a K/D differential of +10, which consisted of a dazzling ace in the second pistol round. Anonymo were down by one round when Snax jumped into action, kicking into sixth gear to topple the NIP lineup with his impressive pistol skills.

Snax wins a crucial pistol round for NIP

Snax was feeling himself in the rematch against NIP where the Danish star AWPer Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz failed to put on a show for his side. The senior Polish AWPer was brilliant and the only player from Anonymo to register a positive K/D on Mirage.

Following a tight comeback during the middle of the first half, Anonymo were down by just a single round at the halftime mark. But Snax swung it around for his side instantly, by single-handedly winning the second pistol round. He went berserk with the USP-S clicking heads one after the other to dismiss all the 5 NIP players, securing a perfect ace and keeping the fight alive for his side.

Snax held connector finding his first victim in the form of hampus. He then made his way to the stairs near the connector and playing around the spot with smoke covering him from below, the Pole went on to hit REZ, Plopski, and dev1ce. Though ztr managed to get the plant down for his side, Snax danced around him to finally secure the final kill and walk away with an impressive ace during a crucial round.

Though Anonymo went on to lose the series against NIP with a ‘16-14’ scoreline. They put on quite the show and accepted the defeat to fall down to the lower bracket. Since then they have gone on to win against HYENAS in the lower bracket by a ‘2-1’ scoreline, setting themselves up for a match against the losers of NIP vs FunPlus Phoenix.
