Wild Rift Pride Event: Everything You Need to Know

The League of Legends: Wild Rift Pride Event has recently kicked off, offering players a chance to celebrate the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOTB) with cute and colorful profile icons and emotes. The Wild Rift Pride Event is pretty straightforward and easy, and players only need to complete two event tasks to receive all the rewards. The event will last from May 24 to May 31, 2021. Wild Rift Pride Event: All You Need to Know

The Pride Event is a Riot Games campaign intended to raise awareness of and celebrate the LGTBQIA+ community. Players are able to obtain an array of new profile icons, emotes, and sounds in Wild Rift.

Missions and Rewards

For the Wild Rift Pride Event, there are only two missions. The rewards for completion of these missions are a lot of Pride Icons and an exclusive emote.

The “Rainbows For All” homeguard trail will only be a temporary cosmetic and will be disabled on June 14, 2021. This item can still be viewed in your inventory, but you can’t equip it until it is reenabled by the developers. 

This isn’t the first time Riot Games has made events for various celebrations and social causes. Recently, they added Pride Cards to Valorant to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community in the Shooter title. It will be interesting to see if Riot Games decides to add more such mini-events to Wild Rift in the near future.
