  • The iOS users were left confused coming forward to ask the developers about when will pre-registration open for them.
  • Krafton has given its official stance on the situation by answering a user query about iOS release plan on Battlegrounds Mobile India's support page.

The pre-registration of the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India went live yesterday on May 18, but not for iOS devices. For now, Krafton has only allowed registration for the India-specific battle royale via the Google Play Store for Android users. This resulted in a lot of Apple users coming forward to ask when will they be able to register for Battlegrounds Mobile India, with Krafton currently offering four free rewards to users who pre-register themselves. The latest announcement was made via a trailer featuring popular content creators like Dynamo Gaming, Kronten, and Jonathan along with Indian actor Arshad Warsi. However, the most asked question among community members circulated around the topic of when will the iOS version of the game be released.

Krafton’s Official Stance on BMI’s iOS Release

While the community is hyped for the upcoming release of Battlegrounds Mobile India whose initial announcement trailer was released on May 6 by Krafton, the iOS user community is still anxious as no pre-registration dates have been announced for them so far.

However, it seems that the developers have some plans in store for players who like to play the game on either an iPhone or an iPad. According to information spotted on Battlegrounds Mobile India’s official support page on their website, Krafton has responded to a query asking "Does Krafton have a release planning for IOS version?"

Krafton’s response is as follows, “We will keep our fans informed on further developments. New updates will be released on our official website and social networks, so please stay tuned for further news!”

While Krafton has acknowledged the query stating that players will be informed as and when there is any further development, the iOS users are already becoming a bit restless. Many have taken to various social platforms to discuss this issue, share memes on their current situation, or simply ask around for more information.

This iOS user was so eager to know when the game will be available for Apple devices that he directly approached the popular Indian streamer Tanmay “sc0ut” Singh with his query.

Some users were ready to buy a completely new phone simply because no information about an iOS release was made, while Android users have already started pre-registering on their devices.

A few users shared some memes to express themselves. Patiently waiting for the arrival of Battlegrounds Mobile India for Apple devices.

However, a few users also provided the community with some meaningful insights on the topic. Like this particular user who had a great opinion to put forward regarding the iOS version release.

For now, Krafton seems to be focused on Android users with the game already going live for pre-registration. Additional information about the game like minimum system requirements, indigenized gameplay changes, India specific esports scene, preview of reward items, and other such things were also revealed by the developer.
