'80s Action Heroes in COD Mobile: Release Date and Other Details

Activision recently announced their upcoming 80's themed event called 80's Action Heroes in their popular mobile shooter game, Call of Duty: Mobile, a few days after teasing their upcoming new operator, John Rambo. The teaser, released on May 15, revealed that Activision would be releasing new operators for COD Mobile, Warzone, and Cold War. The 80's Action Heroes-themed event will begin on May 20, 2021, and will feature iconic heroes from the 1980s. Although Activision hasn't revealed the upcoming new operators in COD Mobile, recent leaks have revealed that John McClane from the Die Hard franchise and John Rambo from the Rambo movie franchise will be featured in the upcoming 80’s Action Heroes-themed event in COD Mobile.

80's Action Heroes in COD Mobile: Release Date

The teaser indicates that the 80's Action Heroes-themed event will begin on May 20, 2021, just a few days before COD Mobile Season 4.

On May 15, 2021, COD Mobile released a teaser for the themed event, with the caption "Welcome to the party, pal!" from the Die Hard franchise.  

In addition to the teaser, Activision has also released various promotional images for the upcoming themed event and a character that resembles John Rambo from the Rambo film series. 

In spite of the many easter eggs in the teaser trailer, Activision has yet to reveal who will be the new operators joining John Rambo on May 20, 2021. Players are anxiously awaiting the big reveal soon.

Rambo and John McClane Operator Skins Leaked

Recent leaks have given fans a sneak preview of the upcoming 80's action heroes that will soon arrive in COD Mobile. 

It is important to remember, however, that these may not be the final designs of the upcoming operators. Some changes may be made before they go on sale on May 20, 2021.

Activision will be adding new operators outside the Call of Duty franchise for the first time. It would be interesting to see more iconic action movie heroes from the '80s included in COD Mobile.
