Apex Legends Mobile System Requirements: Can You Run It?

Apex Legends Mobile system requirements were reported earlier this year, well ahead of the game's official announcement.
Android users can sign up for a chance at the beta while iOS users will have to wait until pre-registrations open up.
The game will release sometime in March 2022 and there will be a one-year beta period heading into the game's launch.

Apex Legends Mobile system requirements are not officially available on the Play Store but IGN India reported the minimum requirements earlier this year. Battle royales are known to be intensive and Apex Legends Mobile’s system requirements are on the steeper side. If you have a lower-end phone, chances are that you will not be able to get optimal performance. Currently, the game will be going through closed betas in specific regions before the final launch and the system requirements are subject to change. Here is a quick look at the Apex Legends Mobile system requirements for both Android and iOS.

Apex Legends Mobile System Requirements

It looks like you will need quite a high-end phone to run Apex Legends Mobile smoothly. IGN India reports that the game will at least require an iPhone 8 and above for iOS or a Snapdragon 625 or above for Android to play Apex Legends Mobile.

For Android

Processor: Snapdragon 625 or above.

For iOS

Processor: A11 Bionic and above
iPhone 8, 10.5 iPad Pro, or newer devices.

The Apex Legends Mobile system requirements require capable hardware and it remains to be seen how well Respawn entertainment optimizes the game. The Nintendo Switch port is going through performance issues with most players experiencing FPS drops to 15 fps and lower in some cases. It is likely that the Apex Legends Mobile system requirements are indicative of performance at 30fps and if you want to run the game at higher frame rates, you will require a smartphone or tablet with better specs.

According to Respawn Entertainment, the upcoming game “is specially designed for touchscreens, with streamlined controls and thoughtful optimizations that result in the most advanced battle royale combat available on a phone.”

Apex Legends Mobile Regional Beta Dates

Respawn will be steadily rolling out Apex Legends Mobile around the world in a series of tests. To start with, the studio will do a series of smaller closed beta tests in India and the Philippines later this month. The first betas will only be available on Android devices. iOS betas will be available later and once the game is ready to go live in more regions, a pre-register page will be available on the official website allowing players to sign up for news and beta access for the upcoming game.
