Wild Rift Release Date in Americas Revealed

Riot Games rising mobile MOBA game has attracted a lot of attention from mobile gamers since it launched in the SEA region in 2019. Finally, fans from across the two American continents will be able to hop into the hype train very soon.

The Wild Rift release date in Americas has been revealed through the official social media handles of Wild Rift. On March 29, 2021, fans from across the Americas region will be able to play the game.

The regions that will be able to access the game are the following;

  • Brazil
  • Mexico
  • Chile
  • United States of America
  • Argentina
  • Canada
  • Colombia
  • Peru

According to the Wild Rift communication’s lead, Ben “Draggles” Forbes, players will only be able to play with other players within the Americas region to prevent cross-server lags and other complications.

Draggles also stated that players who used VPNs would have to migrate to their proper regions to prevent any account issues.

"When the game launches, please make sure you are playing without the VPN switched on and you will see a pop-up in-game when you log in. If you already have an account on any other Wild Rift server, it will ask you to move it to the Americas. As we are using different infrastructures, you will have to start from level 1 with all content removed," stated Draggles in a video update.

He further adds that any Wild Cores purchased will be returned to them after their accounts have been reset.
