COD Mobile Season 2: Release Date, Leaks, Full Details.

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 2 will commence next week, according to Activision. The fans of the popular mobile FPS title are once again excited about the new season despite the previous season only releasing last month. COD Mobile Season 2 will release next week on March 11, 2021 and will be called “Day of Reckoning” and will feature two new maps, two new weapons, new operators, and a lot of bug fixes. COD Mobile Season 2: Release Date

The devs officially announced that Season 2 would be released next week. COD Mobile Season 2 is scheduled to arrive on March 11, 2021.

So players who are yet to finished their season 1 missions still have time before season 2 starts.

New Maps: Shoot House and Shipment

Two new maps are coming to COD Mobile in Season 2. The first one is the Shoot House map which is based on a map featured in Modern Warfare of the same map name. 

The second one is the Shipment map which also came from the Modern Warfare franchise. These maps will bring nostalgia to veteran Call of Duty fans and surely challenge new players.

New Character: Ghost

The developers have confirmed that a familiar operator will make its way to the mobile game in Season 2. Simon “Ghost” Riley from the Modern Warfare franchise will make his way into the mobile game along with alternative character skins.

New Weapons: AS Val Russian Rifle and SP-R208 Marksman Rifle.

COD Mobile will also release two new functional weapons in Season 2. Activision has teased the new weapons in their social media handles. The two weapons have been revealed to be the AS Val Russian Rifle and the SP-R208 Marksman Rifle.

New perks: Overclock and Recon

CODM will add a total of three new perks to the game during Season 2. The first one is the Overclock which reduces the recharge rate of an operator skill when equipped. The second one is Recon, where locations of nearby enemies are revealed after scoring a kill. The last perk will be the Skillful Dropshot which enables players to be prone while firing their weapon. 

New Events

COD Mobile is also hosting a celebration of women and female operators in Call of Duty: Mobile for International Women's Day (March 8th) and Women’s History Month!

When does COD Mobile Season 2 end?

The duration of Season 2 and the end date of Season 2 is yet to be announced by the devs. However, Season 1: New Order lasted for one month and twelve days. By that calculation, Season 2 will end on April 23, 2021. However, it is very unlikely that COD Mobile will have the same exact durations for two consecutive seasons.

There is a lot of upcoming content for COD Mobile. The devs are planning on revealing more as the schedule for Season 2 approaches.
