Wild Rift Will Host MNL48 Takes Over PPGL Event

Wild Rift and PPGL will host an event featuring the PH Idol Group MNL48. The MNL48 Takes Over PPGL event will allow players to play League of Legends: Wild Rift with their favorite MNL48 members Coleen, Abby, Gabb, Sheki, and Cole. Registration is currently ongoing and is open for all ages. The event will be held on March 8, 2021. Fifteen lucky players who registered will be randomly selected and will receive an email to confirm their participation starting on March 5 onwards. Wild Rift Will Host MNL48 Takes Over PPGL Event
Players will get a chance to play Wild Rift with one of the widely known Idol Groups in the Philippines, MNL48. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime chance to virtually hang out with the MNL48 members, Coleen, Abby, Gabb, Sheki, and Cole in Wild Rift. Players can register at the link provided.
MNL48 is an all-girl Filipino idol group that debuted on Aug. 17, 2016. This idol group is also a sister group of the Japanese pop group phenomenon AKB48. MNL48 bagged a few awards such as the PPOP Youth Model of the Year 2018 and Most Favourite POP Girl Group of the Year 2019 in the PPOP Awards for Young Artists.
Players should take note that only one entry is allowed per email account. The fifteen lucky players who are randomly chosen will receive an email on March 5 to confirm their participation in the event. If the selected players fail to confirm their participation before March 8, their slot is forfeited and will be replaced. The participants will need a discord account in order to communicate with the organizers during the event.
The event show will be posted on the official Facebook page of PPGL on March 27, 2021.

MNL48 Takes Over PPGL Event Schedule and Format
The event starts on March 8, Monday, at 9:00 AM. The participants will play a total of 3 games with the Idol Group. In the first game, the fans will compete against the Idol Group, while in the second and third game, the fans and the MNL48 members will be shuffled into different teams to compete against each other.
